Dr. DaCosta Aboagye, CEO of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), has responded to concerns regarding the financial sustainability of the national insurance scheme, particularly in relation to subsidies for dialysis treatment.

His reassurances come in the wake of apprehensions raised by Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, the ranking member of Parliament’s Health Committee and MP for Juaboso, regarding the NHIA’s capacity to absorb additional financial burdens.
