A large quarry explosion in the Shama district of the Western Region in Ghana has resulted in multiple casualties and injuries.
The explosion has also caused substantial property damage and created significant ground fissures in the affected area. Bloodstains have been reported at various blast sites.
In response to the incident, the Ghana Police and Fire Service have promptly arrived at the scene and are working together to manage the situation.
