Unai Emery was the manager for Spanish club Villarreal from (2020 to 2022) and now has been appointed the new manager for Aston Villa.
He was born November 3, 1971. After a career spent playing mostly in Spain’s Segunda Division. Emery transitioned into coaching after retiring in 2004
He also previously managed Lorca Deportiva, Almeria, Valencia, Spartak Moscow, Sevilla, Paris Saint-German and Arsenal.
Over the course of his managerial career, Emery has lifted 11 major trophies and he is also a four-time winner of the Europa League.

His most successful achievements came at PSG, where he won the Ligue 1 title, two French Cups, two French Supercups and two French League Cups.
He will take over his new role on November 1st, 2022.
