Hajia Rabi Salifu, the Deputy Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has suggested that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) could be behind the intrusion of individuals associated with the NPP into the UTV studio.

“This possibility is very great because you can never underestimate the NDC, it could be our own opposition trying to get faces to stage this, you might never know, this is a possibility I will explore. Given how desperate they are (NDC), they’re not far from doing that” she said

During an appearance on “Good Morning Ghana” on Metro TV, Hajia Rabi Salifu expressed her disapproval of the actions of the intruders. However, she also raised concerns about the perceived bias of TV and radio show moderators in their choice of topics and the way they handle discussions.

“These young people taking that approach was wrong however we should also see what would have triggered that”. Just maybe, somebody who is opposing the current leadership of the party trying to make the leadership of the party unpopular could try to stage people and do this”

“I am not justifying what they did, that is not to say I am so sure about who would have sent them because the police is investigating it and we are ready as a party to support the police service to do the investigations” she added.
