West Ham supporters have expressed their dissatisfaction with Mohammed Kudus following his underwhelming showing in the 2-1 defeat against Nottingham Forest.
The Ghanaian winger, previously regarded as an important player, was labeled “lazy” and “unmotivated” after being taken off in the 79th minute. Supporters flooded social media, calling for his transfer and insisting he no longer cares about playing for the club.
Mohammed Kudus has been linked with a potential transfer away from West Ham, with Premier League clubs such as Liverpool, Arsenal, and Manchester City reportedly showing interest in signing him.
Although his contract features an £80 million release clause, insiders indicate that West Ham might be willing to accept a reduced offer of approximately £70 million because of his disappointing season, during which he scored only 4 goals and provided 4 assists in 35 matches.
Fans described his performance as “terrible” and criticized him for playing “selfishly” instead of prioritizing the team.
Jamie Carragher remarked that Kudus was “absent” throughout the match, adding to the mounting criticism.
This isn’t the first instance of Kudus encountering criticism-he was earlier questioned for being spotted attending an Arsenal game as a fan.
The defeat to Forest marked the end of a frustrating season, with supporters even booing the team as they left the pitch at halftime.

Although seasoned players such as Vladimír Coufal and Aaron Cresswell received praise during their final home appearance, Kudus’ downturn reflected the wider challenges facing the club under Graham Potter.
As Kudus is anticipated to depart this summer, West Ham might look to invest in new offensive players. His exit could signify the close of a difficult period, with the club aiming to rebuild following a disappointing season.
