On Friday, 22nd April, 2022, A Special Sitting was summoned to commemorate YIP’s First Anniversary at Paradise International Youth Auditorium, Barracks Junction, Ho.
Mr. Raymond Elikem Agbo (Co-Founder) presented the Welcome Address, ‘Rt. Hon.’ Jones Amegsahie-Viglo (Founder and Speaker) presented the concept paper and state of operations, ‘Hon.’ Erasmus Kofi Ahianu (Minority Leader) delivered a statement on YIPs past impacts and Hon.’ Amanor D. Narh (Co-Founder and Majority Leader) delivered a statement on YIPs expected future impact.
The sitting was graced with the presence of Honourable Etornam James Flolu (District Chief Executive for Afadzato South District of Ghana) as Special Guest of Honour, Honourable Capt. Rtd. George Kofi Nfojoh (Former Member of Parliament for Ho Central Constituency of Ghana), Reverend Roger Elorm Titriku (Deputy General Overseer of Paradise International), Mister Simon Kwodjo Mesa Avorgah (National President of Ho Technical University Alumni Association) and Mister Charles Kwesi Gomenu (Ho Municipal Director of National Youth Authority) as Guests of Honour.
Youth Impact Parliament was established on Thursday 22nd April 2021. Youth Impact Parliament creates the opportunity for youths to be groomed in leadership roles, public speaking, parliamentary business, social norms and values in Ghana. YIP also grants vast space for youths to impact society in their small way while leaving an indelible mark.
