Ghanaian actor John Bredu Peasah, fondly known as “Drogba” from the YOLO series, has bravely opened up about his battle with a Demyelinating Disease and is reaching out for financial assistance to support his ongoing treatment.

In a heartfelt statement shared on his official Instagram page, Drogba revealed that he has been grappling with a Demyelinating Disease for the past two and a half years, undergoing treatment to manage the condition.

To facilitate contributions, Drogba provided details of his bank account as follows: Name – John Bredu Peasah, Bank – Access Bank, Account Number – 0535934031, Branch – Adjiriganor Branch. The appeal aims to rally support from the public to aid Drogba in his ongoing medical journey.

A demyelinating disease is a condition that leads to damage of the protective covering (myelin sheath) surrounding nerve fibers in the brain, optic nerves, and spinal cord. When the myelin sheath is compromised, it can result in slowed or halted nerve impulses, causing neurological issues.

YOLO, which stands for “You Only Live Once,” is a Ghanaian teenage TV series that debuted in 2016. Serving as a sequel to the Ghanaian TV series “Things We Do for Love,” YOLO provides guidance and counsel to young individuals navigating the challenges of adolescence.
