Ghana’s most prestigious cultural beauty pageant delivered an unforgettable night of elegance, heritage, and fierce competition as Nana Konadu, representing the Bono Region, was officially crowned the winner of Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2026. Held on October 18 at the iconic National Theatre in Accra, the historic 20th-anniversary edition—dubbed GMB@20 celebrated two decades of highlighting Ghanaian heritage, storytelling and womanhood.

For pageantry enthusiasts across Ghana and the diaspora, the grand finale showcased the depth of the country's regional diversity while crowning a queen whose consistency and cultural brilliance captivated both the judges and the voting public.

The 20th edition of Ghana’s Most Beautiful was built around the grand theme "GMB@20 — Celebrating 20 Years of Culture, Grace and Legacy". The grand finale brought together prominent dignitaries, including the Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Madam Abla Dzifah Gomashie, alongside prominent cultural custodians and entertainment icons. The evening was hosted by the dynamic duo of Anita Akua Akuffo and Cookie Tee, while judging duties were handled by Janet Sunkwa-Mills and Nana Hemaa Adwoa Awindor.

Nana Konadu’s path to the crown was marked by late-season momentum that cemented her status as a crowd favorite. Earlier in the competition, she clinched the Best Model of the Night award on Fashion Night. She later delivered a standout performance in Week 10 during One Africa Night, where her depiction of Côte d'Ivoire explored shared Akan roots with Ghana, recounted the history of Queen Abla Pokou, and brought energetic Coupé-Décalé dance routines to the stage. Her ability to seamlessly weave history, traditional cuisine, cocoa production, and tourism highlights earned her the coveted Star Performer award during that round.

As the ultimate winner, Nana Konadu walked away with a brand-new MG ZS Deluxe Edition motor vehicle sponsored by Mac Ghana and a cash prize of GHC200,000.

The competition among the six finalists was keenly contested down to the final moment. Volta Region’s representative, Sessinam, secured the first runner-up spot after an impressive season that included multiple awards and institutional backing, earning a cash prize of GHC100,000. Ashanti Region's Ampomaa placed third, taking home GHC50,000 along with sponsor souvenirs. Upper East Region’s story-teller Ayinbomaa finished in fourth position with GHC30,000, while Greater Accra’s theatrical performer Lamiley took fifth position with GHC20,000. Western North Region’s Tiwaa rounded out the top six in sixth position, receiving a cash prize of GHC10,000 plus sponsor souvenirs.
