Todd Boehly has formally announced his exit from Chelsea Football Club, where he served as Chairman.
Reflecting on his tenure, Boehly expressed gratitude to the various stakeholders who supported the organization, stating,
It has been an honour to serve as Chairman of Chelsea Football Club. I would like to thank the many who helped secure a bright future for the Club, including the English Premier League, the coaches and players, the talented leadership and staff at Chelsea, and the legions of dedicated fans.
Throughout his leadership, Boehly worked in close partnership with Clearlake and the wider ownership group to execute key strategic decisions and capital investments intended to drive both immediate and long-term success.

Highlighting this collaborative effort, Boehly noted,

Following his stepping down, Boehly expressed strong optimism regarding the club's ongoing trajectory under its remaining leadership structure, concluding,
