Following recent facility maintenance and inspection, CAF restored Category A approval for the Accra Sports Stadium, making it available for international competition.
NSA Director General Yaw Ampofo Ankrah confirmed that
Accra Sports Stadium is currently the only approved venue for FIFA Category A matches" in Ghana and is actively preparing for the upcoming international fixtures.

Niger (drawn alongside Morocco, Gabon, and Lesotho) will play home fixtures in Accra, starting with Niger vs. Lesotho on September 24.
Somalia (drawn with Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, and Gambia) will also play home matches in Accra, meaning both home and away ties for Ghana vs. Somalia will take place at the venue.
