Music sensation Safo Newman made a splash in the music industry last year with his hit single “Akokoa,” which quickly gained popularity on social media and garnered a substantial number of streams across various platforms.

While fans, including renowned rapper Sarkodie, lauded the talented artist, others critiqued and left negative feedback.

Undeterred by online criticism, Newman, in his early thirties, remained steadfast in his musical pursuits, stressing that his focus is on the quality of his music rather than public perception of his appearance.

In an interview with the Daily Graphic, Newman admitted to encountering unfavorable comments but underscored his commitment to creating timeless music, choosing not to dwell on detractors’ opinions.

“When it comes to remarks about my appearance, I’m not overly concerned. In fact, I view it as part of what sets me apart. Negative comments about my looks don’t affect me. What truly matters to me are the songs I produce, the messages they convey, and the positive impact I can make on society,” stated Safo Newman.
