Nana Kwame Bediako, also known as Cheddar and the founder of the New Force Movement, shared during a live Q&A session on TikTok that he had been arrested in the past for driving and clubbing during his time in London. He attributed this incident to youthful recklessness.

However, he vehemently denied any involvement in fraudulent activities in London, dismissing such allegations as unfounded attempts to damage his reputation.

He characterized these claims as politically motivated maneuvers aimed at undermining his campaign, asserting that they lack any basis in fact.

“I have no criminal record in London. I grew up there. From 1994 to 2001, I resided in London before relocating to Ghana. During my time in London, there were occasions when I was arrested for driving infractions and clubbing, but I do not possess a criminal record. If anyone asserts otherwise, they should provide evidence.”

“I am not perturbed by the accusations leveled against me; I view them as part of life’s trials. It is ironic that they are seeking to bring me down now that I have achieved this level of success. However, I have faith in God to deal with those individuals. If they have proof of criminal wrongdoing, they should present it.

“But let me be clear: I have never been arrested before. In England, people can be arrested for minor offenses, but arrests are based on truth,” he emphasized.
