Following the successful acquisition of 70% of Vodafone Ghana by Telecel Group, an African-focused telecommunications corporation skilled at fusing telecom with fintech, e-commerce, and tech start-ups, Vodafone Ghana is about to become Telecel Ghana.

The acquisition, which happened in February 2023, is expected to revolutionize Ghana’s telecom sector by introducing client-focused goods and first-rate customer support.

“In February 2023, Telecel completed the acquisition of Vodafone Ghana, setting the stage for a massive rebranding campaign,” stated Moh Damush, CEO of Telecel Group, in a statement confirming the agreement.

This metamorphosis is more than simply a name change; it’s a symbol of our dedication to driving telecoms forward in Ghana while redoubling our efforts to satisfy our clients’ changing needs.

Our rebranding is an audacious move toward a future in which our key values of innovation, quality, and customer pleasure will always be present. Our mission is to deliver outstanding services to Ghanaians that go above and beyond their expectations.

Patricia Obo-Nai, CEO of Vodafone Ghana, added, “I am genuinely excited about this transition.” Our mission is to provide our clients with an excellent network that fosters both professional and personal development. We are embarking on an exciting journey to rebrand from Vodafone Ghana to Telecel Ghana, and I cordially encourage our stakeholders to be a part of it.

It is anticipated that the rebranding initiative, which begins in January and culminates with a complete brand reveal by the end of February 2024, would be jam-packed with engaging marketing and activities for all stakeholders.
